Fun in the Sun at Cocoa Beach

This typical beach spot is perfect for a family get-away. Found at the southern part of Daytona Beach, this beach is easily accessible as it is close to other popular attractions in Orlando such as the Kennedy Space Center. Here you will see everything you expect of in a beach scenario; surfers walking around with their surfboards, people sunbathing, little kids making sand castles playing with sand and people loving the cool water of the beach as the sun glows throughout the day.

One thing that makes Cocoa Beach diverse from Daytona Beach is the fact that Cocoa Beach has a more laid-back environment. The hotels here are not as commercialized and have small structures giving the beach a more natural feel where sand banks are intact and left untouched.

A number of activities can be done here too such as going deep sea fishing at the Space Coast and catch the freshest fishes out there. Better yet, you and your family can go parasailing and see the beauty of the beach in a different way. A number of dining places are found on the beach where you not only your eyes are fed with the breath-taking beach on sunset but get your appetite fed as well.

Cocoa Beach is so close to Orland that in a near distance, Port Canaveral is located. This port that is quickly developing has become a favorite by tourists because you and your family can go on a cruise. At this port, you will see a number of cruise lines that will let you and your family go to places that you have never seen before.

Aside from the many wonderful things that can keep you and your family busy, Cocoa Beach offers very affordable rates. Just a few tips before you and your family plan on hitting the beach; first of all, vehicles are not allowed on the beach area, animals are not allowed as even if you bring a leash for your pet and you may bring alcoholic drinks with you as long as it is not placed on a glass container. So if you and your family are looking for fun in the sun then why not spend it at Cocoa Beach.
