This typical beach spot is perfect for a family get-away. Found at the southern part of Daytona Beach, this beach is easily accessible as it is close to other popular attractions in Orlando such as the Kennedy Space Center. Here you will see everything you expect of in a beach scenario; surfers walking around with their surfboards, people sunbathing, little kids making sand castles playing with sand and people loving the cool water of the beach as the sun glows throughout the day.

Highlands Reserve Golf Club is not your usual golfing scene. From the name itself, Highlands Reserve Golf Club is situated at the highest areas in the Florida area. It is actually owned and operated by Kitson & Partners, one of the most active companies in Florida that is focused on golf club businesses in has also been involved in operating golf courses in other countries as well. This remarkable golf club is actually designed by Mike Dasher.
According to the designer, his goal was to make a golf course that was not only within the budget also walkable and fun. It is also because of the designer’s eccentric and interesting taste that helped bring out the natural beauty of the area. The result was a gorgeous golf course of green rolling meadows that has a sprinkle of Scottish traditional golf courses and a mix of Florida.

The Highlands Reserve opened in 1998 and is very accessible to go to as it is just 10 minutes away from Disney world. The golf course has a total of 18 holes and has yardage of 3 sets of tees. The place has really captivated many in fact back in 2002 it got a nomination from the Golf for Women Magazine as one of the 50 top courses. Not only did the Highlands Reserve Golf Club get that but it also got a rating of 3 stars by Golf Digests “Places to Play” guide because of its unique features. The Pine trees around the area will make you love that Florida feel even more.
At first glance, golfers may think that the residential homes might be too close or the sand dunes and water hazards may be too superfluous but when you take a second look, you will surely love the beautiful design that this golf course has. Not only does it have a natural preserved look but its active features make you want to stay around for a whole day of golfing.

Indialantic Beach is often taken for granted by tourists because it is surpassed by Cocoa Beach 20 minutes away, but even so, this small and quiet beach has a number of posh hotels and even budget-friendly motels to stay at. The name Indialantic is actually from the words “Indian” and “Atlantic” put together as it is flanked by the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean.
Since Indialantic Beach is basically an open sea, surfers who come here take advantage of the waves that come rolling in. You can go walking around the shore but make sure to put on some footwear to make sure you won’t get hurt since the Indialantic Beach sand is mostly made up of small pieces of fossilized shell and crushed shells as well.
You would really appreciate the Indialantic Beach for its peaceful environment since it is not as crowded as other beaches. It does not really mean that just because only a few people drop by and stay here that no lifeguards are available. Lifeguards are available here to make sure that all the beach goers have a fun and safe experience.
The Sea Turtle Preservation Society is in Indialantic so expect that a number of sea turtles may be found around the beach. This will really be interesting most especially if you are bringing your kids along with you for a vacation here. You will not only enjoy the “turtle walks” that are offered but they also make us understand about these sea turtles and how to help preserve them. The “turtle walks” are usually offered in the months of June and July so make sure to reserve ahead of time as a lot of people are looking forward to this each year.
Some people often have this misconception in which if the beach only has a few people, there’s also less fun. As a matter of fact, in beaches like Indialantic Beach, this is the place where you could just have quality time that you and your family needs. With just the sound of the beach, the birds in the air and the cool breeze, you will surely appreciate the serenity of this small but mesmerizing Indialantic Beach.

The very pretty Bonita Beach is located in Bonita Springs, south of Ft. Myers and just at the northern part of Naples. The place displays posh communities and a number of up-to-date beachfront houses with coconut and palm trees scattered everywhere. The tropical feel that Bonita Beach shows makes visitors keep coming back for more.
The abundant tropical scenery in Bonita Beach is emphasized with the many trees that surrounds it and makes the place look really clean and green. It is a very glamorous place since most of the beach houses found here are really nice and the place has less people which is perfect for a vacation home.
One of the favourite places that tourists love here is the Little Hickory Beach Park found on Bonita Beach. The wooden dune walkover lets you see the beach and its interesting features. You will really notice how the locality has been really taken care of because of its cleanliness. At the shores, you get to see a number of shells at the sand scattered all over like tiny treasures that poured over the sands.

If you and your family happen to get hungry from strolling around the beach area, hot dog vendors are around the beach from you can grab some to eat. One great place for dining here is Doc’s Beach house Restaurant just found at the beach’s right side. There is definitely no problem if you want to change after a fun time at beach since there are facilities where you can do that and restrooms, all these amenities here are just outstanding.
At the southern part of Bonita Beach Park is where you can find Barefoot Beach Preserve. To get there, you have to pass by a lavish area where housing is growing which is called Barefoot Preserve. The sights here are just fantastic, imagine living here with these upscale homes, it just makes you envious of those people who have these great homes found here!
Tourists and locals love looking at the sunset here making the beach look sparkling and the sand seem like gold. The dramatic scene will make you fall in love with Bonita Beach even more.
